Baso

The BF and I went one night drawn in by the cheesecake and left very pleased with our choice. The GORGEOUS pink flower-looking dish is a salad you eat with your hands - it is hands down the best thing we had that night and I've done my best to replicate it several times - the endive petals are bitter, the orange is sweet, the sheep's cheese is creamy, the pistachios are crunchy - the dish is so well balanced and delicious, plus it just looks so stunning! The quail legs were something I hadn't tried before and I was worried about gameiness, but I'm glad our waiter talked me into trying them because they were incredible. And the cheesecake - wonderful end to the evening and worth going back for, but I have to say, that beautiful salad wins as favorite for the night.
